Adam Lopez: Bio

Brisbane-born singer Adam Lopez has gained international recognition with Guinness World Records for singing the highest vocal note by a male singer.

In 2003 Adam’s record note was a high D7 (the last D on the piano) and in 2005 he broke his own record by almost a full octave with a supersonic C#8 live on the Australian broadcast of ‘Guinness World Records’.  (Rumors are that Adam is to break his current record yet again with a staggering B8! That’s 10 semitones higher than his current record.)

This achievement has astounded audiences from all around the world leading him to perform in Japan - ‘Best House 123 - Fuji Television’, Spain - ‘La Noria - TV1’, Italy - ‘Guinness World Records - Rai1’, Korea - ‘Korean Festival - Arirang Television’, Hong Kong - ‘The Black Pearl Dinner’ and most recently in Papua New Guinea with Jazz legend James Morrison and Kate Ceberano.

It comes as no surprise to hear that Adam’s vocal artistry has paved opportunities to perform backing vocals for some of the biggest names in the music industry such as Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and The Corrs.

Under ABC Music’s label, Adam has released a spicy Pop/Latin album featuring James Morrison on Trumpet and Australian Composer Sean O’Boyle as Album Producer.  The album is titled ‘Till the end of time’ and is accompanied by the rich sounds of a 12 piece Latin band, lush backing vocals and of course - the incredible voice of Adam Lopez.
